A Little Drink You Can Eat
Developing an ‘edible alcohol’ product for a huge drinks brand – from briefing to on sale in just 110 days.
When a brand we worked with were interested in exploring the commercial opportunities for ‘alcohol you can eat’ I took on the challenge – researching and developing 15 different and new products in just a few weeks (i.e. me creating a whole series of very alcoholic foodstuffs in my kitchen!).
I then tested these concepts with real consumers in various London bars (including The Box and Barrio East) iterating the product as I received feedback. I was also responsible for modelling the commercial opportunity and branding and packaging the product for market.
Through my work the brand realised that there was a huge opportunity for frozen cocktails and have since released a number of varieties in the UK.
