Lorraine Kelly Studio | Set Model​

Redesigning the current set for Lorraine Kelly’s breakfast show on ITV.

 

The set requirements were a main chat area for Lorraine and guests, a kitchen for the cooking segment and a fashion area with catwalk.

​

My concept was based on a modern but cozy apartment where the audience and guests alike would both feel at home and aspire to own an apartment just like it. 

​

Interior decoration was kept to a minimum with personality and Lorraine’s trademark sunshine added in using quirky furnishings and pops of colour. 

​

The apartment theme was consistent throughout with a modern and fresh-ingredient-filled kitchen, spacious sitting room area and walk-in wardrobe complete with catwalk. To introduce light into the set and give a sense of time of day without feeling too artificial I created shutters over the windows where a diffuse light would filter through and change over the course of the show to show time passing.
